Both owners grew up with roots in NYC, where food wasn’t just something you grabbed — it was an experience. From late-night burger spots to classic diners where you pulled in, sat back, and had food brought right out to you, those moments shaped how they see hospitality and flavor.
When Gotham Halal made Rochester home, they noticed something was missing. They didn’t just want to open another food place — they wanted to bring that NYC vibe and flavor to the heart of Rochester, while doing it their own way.
Gotham Halal is their take on that idea. Fresh, made-to-order smash burgers. Crispy fries. Bold flavors. No shortcuts. Everything cooked when you order, and served with care.
